There's one premie I know I'm pretty sure is x-rated. He was one of the early westerners to go to India and meet Rawat. Still a super ardent devotee, grateful to Rawat for everything. I'm familiar with his circumstances and I won't go into detail, but frankly his life and his current situation is a disaster. He's virtually destitute, but still SO grateful.
Anyway, he'd always give the impression that Rawat hides a lot of what he got up to because we, ordinary premies, couldn't handle it. We'd freak out. I know what it is we couldn't handle, it's the cognitive dissonance. The hypocrisy.
But my friend is, to give him his due, an expert at that. His morals and his judgement don't go beyond Rawat being at the centre of everything. Rawat is right. The rest is Maya, and none of that really matters.
You too could have been like that Mr Lakeshore, still living out of your suit case, still grateful, if you'd only made the grade. If only you could have ignored the plight of your fellow inmates, written it off as Lila.
I'm so glad you failed that test and remain like the rest of us, an outsider.
