You're Learning' unix... NOW???
For God's sake man.....HELLO.....where the f%#*k have you been for the last 5 years? I've heard you are a bit slow but this is ridilculous. By the time you manage to write ping pong games we'll all be talking in SLX/4 you dumb desert rat. Apart from that.... when you went to the now nonn existent 'Whisper' and saw nine names on the list - that is the number of those who registered with their FULL details. The others (who have full access to the forum) all chose to remain private until they are sure we have secured the gates properly from the likes of you. We now have another place that you don't know ANYthing about - so those who are afraid of your evil - are safe. Knows nothing about computer languages. Nothing about how forums operate. Nothing about Photoshop. Drek...pray tell, what is your purpose on this earth? |

Geeks from my generation can be SO insecure. For good reason, the new generation are billiant. And besides at this point in life I'd like to think I've already been there done that and am now ready for a new thing.
So thanks for guarding the gates for me so I can spend some time reading and writing in English for a change :) 5 years? Try around 1990, that's when universities first got the internet technology from the esteemed Mr. Gore's bill. Or we may have been a bit behind. but it was more like live Unix not learn it, it's very consuming. Most of the CS and MIS freshman I have recently met already know it when they get into the program. And that is just the start just the OS. Then there is all the scripting and programming. And anyway the newer technology makes becoming a "unix expert' only one piece of the puzzle. Those that be may snidely call me a 'unix expert' but I'd say at least I am 5 years ahead, even if those critics could stay off the forums long enough for one marathon lesson a day. MEOWWWWW ah well I guess there is something to be said for being forced to be on the bleeding edge all those years. |
