Subject: I'd give you a game of tennis Ant

Message:

My partner bought me a really good new Dunlop racquet for my birthday last month and also went to a deal of trouble to pick me up an old copy of (the now out of print book) 'The Inner game of Tennis' written by a lovely guy I know called Tim Gallwey. The book is cute and small and full of wise tips on how to remain in control of one's emotions during a game. The day after reading it, we had our weekly tennis meeting and I watched in amazement as I walloped a friend who isn't bad at all. What was interesting was that he was doing all the self depreciation stuff mentioned in the book, cussing and swearing at his bad shots and missed opportunities, making himself less focussed on every point following. I have to say, reading the book helped me maintain the crucial balance of fun and effort. I found that keeping cool and placing my shots well got a me a 5-2 victory in the third, over a much harder hitting player. Onya Tim!

I'm curious to see what the Inner Game of Music has to offer, I know I go into a warm soft trance like state when I'm singing from the heart and get well pissed off when I'm just fucking about blowing off on the guitar.

I'm no more deceitful than half the goons you give so much support to on the forums. It just so happens I'm quicker with a pen than they are. So I should be, I write TV comedy sketches and get a lot of practice. I don't get impassioned by this place Anthony, perhaps you make the common mistake of planting your own emotions onto other peoples words. I can create an appearance, that's all. We are all just mirroring our own projections at each other the whole time here. That's all it is, mind games. There is no real, energetically tangible exchange going on, we are fantasising if we believe that.

How come so few of the F7 hate cult are able to stand back from themselves long enough to see that? In fact, none of them!

It's ok. I know. :)

THE CAT'S WHISKER A Funky little spot for anyone feeling free and easy

No, no, no! This is not talk from a brainwashed devotee of the Lord of the Universe.
This is only TravelDoc.
