A friend of mine relates the following story about our favorite power couple, sean and barbara brogan.Sean, who used to be called 'Blockhead', because he's basically a fairly stupid man, and has a large head, is the brawn and barbara is the brains in their operation (although that's not saying very much). At an Amtext meeting this really simple, humble guy gets up and makes an extremely sincere request for the brogans to stop putting people in his territory. He says he loves his job, does it well, and will do it faithfully until the day he quits, at which time he will train a new buyer for his territory. He's a poor, simple guy who says this is the first thing that has ever worked in his life, and he just wants to do it faithfully without their interference. He drove to the meeting in a broken down pickup truck with a broken muffler, because he needed the money for his young daughter. He justs wants to serve and asks if he can keep his little area undisturbed. Sean brogan stands up, sneers at the guy and
says'You know I've got a really big van for all my books. And when I get home, I go out on the town with my wife in our Mercedes (maybe it was a BMW), which is the same one that m has. And you know what?-I really can't hear you or your stupid pickup truck when I'm out on the town with my wife in the mercedes.'
These are the idiots who run the show over at Amtext-they advise chuck nathan and literally do not give a damn about anyone else except their own profits and sucking up to the in-crowd around m. They will do anything to further those two purposes, including intimidation and threats to other buyers.
