Going Within: Knowledge of the Self

Sat., Sept. 13 & 20, 10:30 a.m. (King rm.) with brunch. Marsha

Willis, facilitator, describes this series as "a practice of focusing our

attention upon a deep non-intellectual feeling inside. The practice is

done by oneself and is not a religion, a belief system, a lifestyle, or a

spiritual practice." Developed over 30 years ago by Prem Rawat, it is a

way to feel an essential peace and joy. Marsha Willis, daughter of the

late Joe Willis, JUC's Minister Emeritus, says this practice helped her

to survive the untimely death of her only child five years ago.

If it is not a religion then why is Elan Vital registered as a religion to get tax exempt status?
