It has been nearly a month since the Midwest weekend conference happened. We (myself, other geos & Sharon) thought it would be good to follow up with a conference call with all the city contacts within each geographical area, to catch up on what has been happening in the communities since the conference. The call will just be with the city contacts so that the numbers are reasonable and everyone can get a chance to give a 'brief' update. BUT--feel free to invite anyone on the local team who participated at the conference or who you feel would benefit from the call to listen in on a speaker phone or extension from where you call in.

Please note....It doesn't matter whether lots or not much has been happening in your communities......no pressure.......just another chance to be in communication and contact for support. The proposed agenda, date, time and phone number are listed below. I will need you to RSVP by FirstClass or fax (847-555-1557). Once we have 30 phone ins confirmed, we will have to close the call. However, I will try to schedule another call if the first call fills up.

Translation: They will play a part of a tape of Maharaji blatering about something, or someone will repeat some trite, meaningless, nonsensical comment Maharaji said recently and everyone will pretend they find it intelligent, insightful, inspiring and profound.

Deliverable Progress - brief task group reports

Translation: 'DELIVERABLE PROGRESS????' This is a meaningles cult-word and no one has any idea what it means, although they will act they do, lest some honcho on this conference call, like Sharon S, who apparently is some kind of national coordinator of something, think they are lacking in UNDERSTANDING. Like so much about Maharaji and his cult, there is an emperors' new clothes phenomenon, such that no one will ask 'What the fuck is 'DELIVERABLE PROGRESS??' This will not be asked because Maharaji probably made up this term, has no idea what it means either, but the premies have to act like it is meaningful, less they be thought of as 'unclear.'

New Initiatives or Updates

Translation: Some community reports progress that it is getting better at reading those canned introductions to the videos while sounding less like a brainless robot. Another community has increased their average attendance at 'video events' to 3, because a premie has been bringing her invalid mother. Another community was considering asking Mahatma Jagdeo to come to town, but for some reason Jagdeo doesn't want to enter the United States. Another community rep says they have been really considering the possibility of getting the inspiration to do something, and how blissed out they are by feeling THAT love.

Statistics if available by then

Translation: They won't be available, and if they are, they are padded to make them look a whole lot better than reality. [See Maharaji's website for how to lie about attendance with statistics.] Much twisting will be done to avoid facing the fact that M has a dying cult in the west.
