JW- yes i think i remember you - after andy harris, before david horseford. Re: imbarrato, i heard he got really pissed at m, told him off and left. Supposedly he lives in southern cal. and has been working on some sort of motivational program designed to enhance your professional performance-sort of a tony robbins type thing, fairly psychological in nature. He still hates m, but it would be interesting to get his perspective on things from that era, because 1)he was a pretty smart guy, 2)he and prouty and those instructors knew everything about everyone, and 3)he was in on a lot of the heavy private satsangs from m.His perspective would be quite illuminating I believe. I think he stays in touch with Teddy Tannenbaum, who lives in southern cal, but doesn't come around. I wonder if he was in that famous satsang at the res. in which m told rajaji to tell the instructors who he was. Supposedly Rajaji told them that m was not only the lord but that those people in that room would actually rule the planet;they would be the literal kings and queens of specific countries in the world. He wasn't kidding, he said, and that was their reward for staying loyal to m.
One time john hampton said that he was rajaji's personal valet for a number of months. According to hampton, raja ji's lifestyle was not only not spiritual, but actually quite decadent, and he never meditated. Hampton asked m why this was, or how it could be, and M replied that Raja Ji had supreme faith, and that would get him through.I guess the decadent lifestyle was one of those red flags we would see and buy a bullshit story about, while we put it into the 'grace' or 'lila' or 'divine test' category because somewhere inside us we knew it was all bullshit but had to justify it in some way or another. Sure seems wierd now, doesn't it?
