From Mitch Dickoff's new website: Mitch Ditkoff Expression
Who is Maharaji? That's for you to figure out. All I know is this: When I'm with him, I never want to leave. And when I do, my life begins all over again - whatever I was, before that moment, being left behind like some kind of second skin. Refreshed, renewed, re-awakened once again, I return to what I've come to call "my life" and stand amazed.
With great respect for your personal path and all the effort you are making to be free,
-Mitch, devotee of Prem Rawat aka Maharaji
Did Mitch describe freedom? And what presumption is this that I am making effort to be free? If I am making effort to be free, then obviously I am not free, so why does he presume such a thing about me. Maybe because what he is describing is dependence on a father figure and not freedom. Mitch's attitude makes me shudder. I can hardly imagine anything that I want for myself less. The thought of chasing after Rawat in order to "return to my life" is just about the sickest thing I can think of. It's strange how something that seems so benign and truly wonderful to Mitch can seem so alien and inhuman and revolting to me.
This student/Master relationship is some sort of human psychology gone bad. Please somebody tell me what is the antidote so we can send it to Mitch.
What the Keys will do is set up this student/Master relationship. That is the sole purpose for the Keys. Knowledge is a gift from Rawat, a life-time continuing gift. It's free. All you have to pay is your own mind, your own heart, your own soul.
All you have to do is acknowledge Rawat as the one who gives you the very essence of your own life, just as Mitch does.
Lord have mercy.
